Many of you in the blogging world will have heard of Michelle Schroeder-Gardner and her popular course, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. This is the smartie pants boss lady behind Making Sense of Cents, which earned almost a million dollars last year in revenue (read her income report here). Yes, an (almost) million dollar blog. You can bet that’s an intriguing enough hook to entice bloggers everywhere…
Most companies that hire for search engine evaluation have multiple projects available to work on, so the exact work you do might vary. However, search engine evaluation in the traditional sense involves analyzing queries that regular people like you and me might type into Google or Bing search and then determining the best possible results to match up to that query so that users have the best experience possible using a search engine.
GE hires as "client services representatives" to review and analyze credit applications and credit bureau information, communicate credit decisions and provide support for customer application issues. Most of GE Financial's call center jobs are office-based but when it is hiring for home-based jobs they will be listed in its jobs database. Bilingual French and Spanish CSRs needed. Benefits include health, vision, and disability.
Like you, I remember making an ugly face and thinking “ugh, really? But Google is free.” At the time, I had never purchased a course before, and was very certain I was a great knowledge deity capable of learning everything on my own. However, affiliate marketing swooped in as a massive slice of humble pie, and proved to be that code that I just couldn’t crack. So yes I caved, after scouring the web for the best course out there, I came across Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing, and, with a very skeptical shrug, I pressed Purchase.
Dr. Maelisa Hall realized that, as she put it, was "leaving money on the table." With 1•2•3 Affiliate Marketing, she was able to complement the great stuff she was already doing in running workshops and a membership program with the power of affiliate marketing. Watch the video below to hear how 1•2•3 Affiliate Marketing helped Melissa get started.
Most new affiliate marketers struggle for quite some time. It may take years for the average affiliate marketer to make their first dollar (if they ever make anything at all). The reason it takes so long is because most new affiliate marketers are simply throwing as much as they can at the wall to see what sticks. This is the hard way to earn an affiliate marketer income.
Technically, you pay-per-click, but you do set a target CPA and the platform uses its algorithm to try and generate actions at your target price. This CPA bidding model doesn’t exactly fit the classic definition of cost-per-action, but it can be a good option if you’re interested in a target CPA but don’t think that the standard CPA advertising model is right for your business.
A great summary of affiliate options. One thing to highlight though is how important it is to be very clear about the individual program rules. In particular, some programs do not allow you to use your affiliate link yourself – Amazon is a high profile example of this. But other programs, such as booking.com do let you, so you can use your own affiliate links to get a small discount on your booking via the affiliate payment
But once you’re in your home office—alone, every day—you might start to miss that collegial camaraderie. Since the UPS incident, I’ve reached out more to colleagues via IM and will post cute pics of my new puppy for my colleagues to see on Yammer. And when we’re on deadline, we even (gasp!) talk on the phone. It’s helped tremendously to make the disconnect not feel so severe. It’s a good balance between having peace and quiet when you need it and much-needed interaction with others, too.

Freelancer – refer people to developers, designers, and other freelancers you’ve worked with and make 100% of Freelancer’s project commission for the first 90 days. I get a lot of people requesting WordPress speed optimization services… so I refer them to my developers with a freelancer affiliate link and make $125/month in passive income. You can’t use affiliate links to link to specific freelancer profiles, so I direct people to the homepage via affiliate link and give people my developer’s usernames.
Leads may be delivered by phone under the pay per call model. Conversely, leads may be delivered electronically, such as by email, SMS or a ping/post of the data directly to a database. The information delivered may consist of as little as an email address, or it may involve a detailed profile including multiple contact points and the answers to qualification questions.
Cloud 10 Transcom – BPO employs telephone Customer Service Representatives, Sales Agents and technical support people for work at home jobs for 32-40 hours per week. Splash Page – This is usally content light and will have flashy graphics with some punchy headlines and copy  to encourage readers to input their details or click through to the merchant. Product information is usually minimal and these types of pages are often reserved for products that need little explanation or are already famous i.e. competition for an iPhone or Macbook.

The appeal of working from home is undeniable, and there are a variety of positions available. Twenty years ago, most of these Work From Home jobs didn't exist. Envelope stuffing and small item assembly involving a lot of back and forth mailing were about the only jobs available. With the advent of the Internet, there are options to accommodate many skill sets. Instant communication with employers allows a Work From Home employee to perform bookkeeping services, medical transcription, simple data entry or customer service.
Get Yourself a Website – If you don't already have a website, then now is the time to get your first one. Whilst it is possible to get accepted to some networks without your own website you may as well give yourself the best chance of success. If you are a major publisher or an experienced marketer and plan on running the CPA ads on your site then can apply with your current domain. However it's more likely that you will have several smaller sites or none at all. In this case you will want to create a website that brands yourself as an online marketer and describes the areas that you work in. A good selection of skill sets to include are your experience with PPC, SEO, Email Marketing or any other methods that you may use. Choosing a name such as SOMETHINGmarketing.com will also give you a more professional feel. If you can't or don't want to design the website yourself then hire somebody to do it for you within a CMS (Content Management System) such as WordPress so you can edit yourself at a later date.

Open & Honest in All of Your Communications – Whilst this may get you denied by some of the more selective CPA networks I truly believe that honesty is important especially in this area. If you say that you plan on driving 1000 keyword targeted leads from per month from PPC and they phone you up and it's clear that you've never even used PPC it will start to raise flags about other areas. Whilst you may think that stationg you can do everything will help your case it may actually hurt it. As CPA networks usually give you your own rep/manager you can often get extra support in the areas where you are lacking, even if it's just a prod in the right direction. After all your success is where they will be making their money.

Well, within only a week (before even finishing the course), I had upped my affiliate income on this site by over 4000%. Before you freak out, let me confess that the most I’d ever made before was a measly $1.84, but going from pretty much nothing to 40x that in less than a week? Dang! In about 30 days, I made over $1500 in affiliate income, and have consistently been over $500 a month since then. I can’t lie – I do a frantic happy dance every time this money enters my Paypal, because it’s some of the easiest cash I’ve ever earned. Passive income… guys, that’s where it’s at.

There are pitfalls and false starts in the growing Work From Home job market, but positions are available to qualified workers. Many of the telecommuting positions have evolved from positions previously performed in a central office where the employer has allowed the flexibility to Work From Home. Other positions to explore are Stay-at-Home Mom jobs and Online Data Entry jobs.

I love affiliate income because it can feel quite passive. You can create just one blog post or social media post, and potentially earn money from it years down the line, as long as you maintain it and keep generating traffic to it. With affiliate marketing, I can enjoy life more and know that I am still able to earn a great living promoting products that I use and enjoy.

Update — It looks like TTEC had to reschedule their Facebook Live to Nov. 6. From their FB page this afternoon — “We have rescheduled this event to next Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 1:00pm ET.” With thanks to Carrie G. for the tip — TTEC Facebook Live Today 1PM ET for Customer Service [email protected] Jobs – TTEC (formerly TeleTech) is giving a Facebook Live today at 1PM Eastern for info on its Customer Service openings. A good chance to ask any questions you might have about their jobs. They’re a legitimate company that’s been hiring work-from-home employees for years. Most recently, we posted some of their customer service positions here. Those are p/t and f/t, with other openings for bilingual Spanish folks and in Canada as well.
CPA bidding is a method of paid advertising that allows you to tightly control your advertising spend. Rather than paying Google for every time someone clicks on one of your ads (as with CPC bidding), CPA bidding only requires you to pay for each conversion, a metric you define yourself when you set up each campaign. This action might be a sale, a lead, a download, or some other conversion you define. CPA advertising can help you avoid spending money on search terms that may not be directly driving business. If one of your ads displays in a SERP and does not match up with the searcher’s intent, you’ll only pay if the searcher engages with the ad and ultimately converts.
Some of the companies on this list are those you’ll recognize. Dell, still one of the largest PC vendors in the world, regularly hires project managers, business analysts and systems engineers for remote work. Salesforce, which came in at #3 on Forbes’ list of the world’s most innovative companies this year, hires telecommuting account executives, product designers and even upper management positions like regional vice presidents. Xerox, Adobe, SAP and American Express also make the list with their own distinct sets of work from home and remote work agreements.
